Cabinet Filtration Technology

Carbon filtration for chemical fumes and vapours

Highly efficient Chemcap filters eliminate toxic substances and compounds within the recommended occupational exposure limit for pollutant gases having molecular weight equal to or greater than 30. Efficiency is 99.9% for the duration of the filter life and with no deterioration in filter performance.

 

Particulate filtration for aerosols and particulates

Pre-filters fulfil the need to arrest larger particles and are fitter to all Chemcap Clearview cabinets, HEPA filtration is fitted as an option when aerosols and small particles require removal. This can be upgraded to ULPA filtration when nanoparticle removal is required.

Filtration used in Chemcap Clearview cabinets

Pre-filteration: eliminates particles at 5.0 microns or larger to an efficiency of 92% as defined in BS EN ISO 779.

Carbon Filtration: filtration efficiency of 99.9% meets BS 7989:2001 Standard.

Optional Particulate Filtration

HEPA filtration: (H14 Standard) eliminates particles 0.3 microns or larger to an efficiency of 99.995%

Chemcap Pro2 Ductless Fume Cabinets

A back-up filter is incorporated into filter housing to provide extra protection.

Pro2 ductless fume hoods include double Chemcap carbon and/or HEPA particulate filtration. A range of three standard cabinet sizes with touch button controls and audible low airflow alarm. The work surface is black which highlights spillages. This cabinet has a trapezium front access as standard with double hinged flaps for easy access to cabinet interior. Cleantec for Fume extraction and LEV dust is adaptable and may be used as a free standing system, on a mobile or static workbench, with a single flexible or jointed arm, installed under-bench with multiple arms or connected direct into process equipment. With a manual fan speed control it is ideal for either light duties in laboratories, education, or for heavier duties requiring the full power of the fan.

 

Cleantec LEV is designed to solve your fume, dust and odour problems at the press of a button. Efficient filtration within a powerful extraction system removes hazardous material from your process direct from where the extraction is required.

UV PCR Workstation

UV is effectively utilised in both the Bigneat UV Sterilisation Cabinet and the Bigneat UV PCR Workstation.

For PCR procedures that need protection from contamination; UV sterilisation of the working environment, with additional downflow sterile air protecting against subsequent contamination.

Weighing Station | F3-XIT

These cabinets have a very small footprint and excellent all-round vision. Cabinets have hinged access flap (F3-XIT-D) or corner tear drops (F3-XIT-S).

Powder cabinets (otherwise called stations, workstations or enclosures) utilise HEPA filtration technology and protect the operator from particles whilst weighing and handling powers.
